About Jasmine Carpio

Mental Health Therapist in Chandler

Hi, I’m Jasmine!

Pronouns: (she/her)

I’m passionate about walking alongside people on their unique journeys of healing and growth.

My focus is on helping individuals navigate anxiety, past trauma, and relationship challenges, and I have a special heart for supporting new mothers through the ups and downs of pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood. I know firsthand how transformative this time can be—both the joy and the overwhelm. I specialize in helping moms feel less alone, more supported, and empowered to heal from past experiences and embrace the changes that come with motherhood.

My Journey & Why This Work Matters

Becoming a mother was (and still is) one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. I struggled with perinatal anxiety and depression, and like many new moms, I felt a lot of shame about how my experience didn’t match the picture-perfect image I had in mind. The pressure to "do it all right" and the overwhelming adjustments to my identity, relationships, and daily life were a lot to carry. What helped me most was receiving the validation and support I needed to heal and normalize my experience.

At one point, I couldn’t imagine having the birth I desired—childbirth used to be my greatest fear. But through support and faith, I overcame that fear and experienced a birth that felt empowering and aligned with my values. I want every mom to feel that same sense of empowerment, healing from past trauma, and support to create the birth experience and motherhood journey that’s right for them.

This personal journey has given me a deep understanding of the challenges that new mothers face, and it fuels my desire to help others navigate this transformative time with compassion and care.

What I Do

Healing is an ongoing process, and I’m passionate about helping people move beyond past struggles and discover their inherent worthiness. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, heal from what’s holding you back, and step into your power as a person and a mother.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I offer a range of approaches that are rooted in compassion and are designed to help you feel empowered to handle whatever life throws your way. I know how much support matters—Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, or just the challenges of adjusting to motherhood, I’m here to provide a nonjudgmental space to work through it.

A little more about me

I’m a proud Filipino American, and I believe in practicing cultural humility and mindfulness of one’s unique identity and lived experiences. I’m also an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, and I offer support that is rooted in inclusivity and respect.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me “momming”, exploring new places, enjoying nature, reading, or trying out new foods. I also love spending quality time with my husband, our daughter, and our cat and dog fur babies.

It takes real courage to seek out therapy, and I honor that in you today. I’m here to help guide you on your journey, wherever you are, and I’d be honored to work with you.

I invite you to contact me for a free 15 minute consultation if you think we could be a good fit, or if you have any additional questions!
